It's been over a year (!) since I started my 101 in 1001 list, so I thought it was time I revisited it. It looks like I need to step up the pace a bit. Also, there are a lot of things that I thought I put on my list but didn't (live with Afsheen and no one else, fly first class, etc.) that I have been busy completing and now can't check off. Oops.
1. Renew my passport.
2. Run a marathon.
3. See a movie at Grauman's Chinese. [Saw Batman Begins there for David's birthday 2005.]
4. Visit another country.
5. Develop all the rolls of film that I've shot over the past few years.
6. Fit into my pretty black dress again.
7. Volunteer for something I believe in.
8. Stay at the same address for at least 12 months. (Right now I'm on my fifth in two years.) [Now on my 6th, but we're staying put, so expect this one to be completed July 4, 2006.]
9. Visit the San Diego Zoo. [Completed sometime over Memorial Day weekend, 2005.]
10. Go sailing with my Opa and Popo.
11. Go skiing. (I have never been downhill skiing, unless you count the time my friend Amanda and I took our cross-country skis down a hill and over a road when we were 13.)
12. Visit my family in New Jersey.
13. Go camping.
14. Read at least 10 of the books gathering dust in my nightstand/around the room. [As of 10/24/04, I've read one qualifying book, Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Biography. Also, I've realized that I need to be more specific here, so nine books I still need to read/finish are Salt: A World History, A Cook's Tour, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, Faithful, Watching Baseball, Heir to the Glimmering World, Katherine Graham's Washington, Don't Panic, and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.]

16. Cook one recipe from each of the cookbooks I own.
17. Take a language class.

25. Frame and hang the posters in our closet.
26. Make the switch. [I now own an iBook and half an iMac, so I think we can consider this one complete.]
27. Buy and wear a watch.
28. Beat Tiger Woods on the GameCube.

40. Get a new cell phone before my current one completely falls apart. [Completed sometime in fall 2004, though really this is an ongoing issue.]
41. Make a mix CD for someone. [I made my summer mix and gave it to lots of people, so I'm counting this one as completed June 2005.]

43. Join a gym that is actually convenient for me to go to. [Completed around September 7, 2004 -- thanks to Afsheen for the wonderful anniversary gift.]

66. Write a letter to my Nana at least once a month.
67. Store my jewelry somewhere other than a big plastic souvenir Red Sox cup.
