I've been thinking about doing Project 365 for a while now, and finally decided to start on my birthday, so I'll have a picture from every day that I'm 27. I'm not sure I'll get a cuter photo than this one, though, even with an entire year to try.

Los Angeles is burning

Griffith Park is on fire, the observatory and zoo might burn down, homes are being evacuated, and yet of all the local networks, only KTLA is interrupting their sweeps programming to follow the story. Jesus. I guess we should be glad that Gilmore Girls has already been cancelled, or else there'd be no coverage at all.

I went up to our roof to shoot a few photos, which I'll add as soon as I upload them. In the meantime, Sara has a much scarier one. Yikes.
